Manic TV
'Manic' font is custom, all using the same width and height of the classic MTV logo. MTV has strayed from its original programing and has basically become an entirely separate entity from its self, so I tried to bring back the classic look. This is my contribution to a group project where we are putting together a campaign for MTV.

Blueboy Productions
Recently Blue Boy Productions released their first EP "Getting Deep." These are the phases the cover design went through, last being the final copy. BBP will be out in Austin Texas on March 17th for SXSW festival showcase at Vermin St. If you haven't already, check out BBP's weekly event Music Ecology, Tuesdays at Wonderbar in Allston featuring both local and touring electronic/live acts.

This Side Up ink + software, 5.8 x 7 // from sketch book |
Starting a blog is more difficult that I anticipated. I have so much I want to upload but I feel weird making more than one post, per day. I've decided that my class reactions (Design Spec.) will get scanned from my sketchbook and then posted here.
Super pumped for the new Kingdom mix-tape released by XLR8R

GO HOME SPUNBEARS
GO HOME SPUN BEARS ink, 5.8 x 7 // from sketch book |
For those of you who may not (probably don't) know of, or just plain don't get this "spundick"/backwards 'k' thing I've been running with as of late, here is your explanation:
Spundick, or team spundick is a name me and my buddies gave to our weekend warrior wrecking crew, if you will. I carried this through to my sketches/freelance design work for the following reasons:
A) I couldn't think of anything else
B) I was looking for an 'umbrella' to put my work under
C) It's a funny name that is easy to remember.
I'll be posting more pieces varying in style and medium here, as well as class reflections for my Design Specifications class.
